IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ AND KEEP ALL REPLY'S ON TOPIC!!

In order to progress the MKB and allow us as an entity to move forward, the decision has been made to make the MKB into a fully organised & setup club.

In short, this means a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and relevant committee members (minimum of PR & Events Officer and Merchandising Officer) will be elected, club rules and constitution agreed and various other tasks relating to the setup of a full club undertaken.

Part of this requires the MKB to have an official AGM to elect the positions, agree the rules / constitution etc and formalise the setup.  This is currently scheduled for Monday 16th April @ 8pm (venue TBC).

If there is anyone who would like to attend the AGM, please feel free to do so, but i would ask you contact either myself, Dean (Roadkill) or Ryan (Fubar) - just so we know how many people we are expecting.

If you wish to be put forward for one of the positions above, all we would ask is that you submit an official application, with a proposer and seconder, to either myself or Dean (Roadkill), by no later than Monday 19th March and ensure you are available to attend the AGM.

There will be changes made to both the forum and website following the AGM, but the MKB will still be here, doing "our thing" and going to as many shows & meets as we can.......all that is changing is we are making the MKB into an official club.

I do hope all the above makes sense and if not, please contact me.

Thanks

Ian

It wasn't planned.

I spoke briefly to Rob yesterday and suggested that myself and him maybe take this on ourselves to keep it separate from the MKB and hopefully () keep everyone happy.

It must go ahead - no question.

Any one wishing to assist can volunteer . . . Rob suggested using next weekend at the AACUK spring nats to sit down and discuss this fully.

I'd also like to hammer out some details re. the forum . . . again, we've got to get things sorted.

I would prefer to set some time aside at the AACUK show for this as cannot make it tonight ....

Am happy to help out as much as i can do (being down here!) re the show

Roadkill

We'll call tonight cancelled (as we cannot hold an AGM anyway).

We'll re-visit the burning issues at the AACUK Spring 'nats.
