Quote " I do know it was sent to hypertech then retuned "

Doesn't sound standard so it may not suit your setup,
mind you since your going Carb will a standard one work

It will be fine mate, its the chip i was intrested in we can look at the stock chip then the modded one to see.

If he can get it at a low price the PCM itself would be handy incase the one i have repaired doesnt work

It'll have to be cheap.  I have no budget at all until payday.

I've been comparing prices to get it running on Carb and get it running on F.I . . . . I'm not entirely convinced by the F.I route, TBH . . . (plus we may have a potential buyer for the ECU) ?

Still we'll try and get the ECU to talk to the engine.  If it doesn't work I'm not wasting ANY money going down the F.I route.

I'll dump on a B-T carb and go Turbos when funds allow . . .

I know that.  But what I'm saying is there's potential money waiting.  And I have none.  Any money from parts goes towards what I owe Rob for my half, reducing what each of us are down by.

Right now, at this point, I need the cash.  So even if it works I'm still not 100% set for the F.I route . . . that'll depend on the ultimate cost of going that route.

Well there wont be a cost mate as you already have all the parts needed

I'll need a new / additional fuel pump.  That alone won't be cheap.  It'll also mean cutting the new lines and mounting + running power to it.

I'll need to drop my tank (and axle) again to hook up return fuel lines (and buy and route said fuel lines).

Also will need some sort of induction box / air filter as I don't think the one on the car's suitable.

Additional wiring will be needed, no doubt.  It also means I'm gonna be stuck with the Optispark, too . . .

Basically quite a bit of work for other people as I know F*ck all about electrics and F.I.

With the carb route I'll just need a Manifold to get it running.

Tank stays as is, existing pump is fine, existing carb's fine, current fuel line's fine, I can keep my air cleaner, too (not that they're dear).

Optispark will go.  Pretty much all work I can do myself, too.

That said, We'll see what happens with the ECU.

Yeah i get your point mate, if the ECM will work the pump thats in the tank will be fine initialy. We also kept all of the rigid fuel lines so just need a small amount of rubber to connect front and back
