These two Post-Apocalyptic games look good for next year

Firstly:

Racing game with 1 level... bit rubbish you think? until you find out its 40,000 sq/km of open, go anywhere, make your own route racing.

Reminds me of a game I used to play called "1nsane" just MASSIVE & the weather stuff looks cool

this one looks to be good, its mostly a FPS game with a bit of adventure game & racing mixed in too

Yah, I used to but I didnt like the randomness of it, the way you cant take and hold a point then use teamwork to push forward. You have people spawning all over the place so once you have set up a good hold you get one of their team with a pistol pwn all of yours.

I started playing Insurgency mod for HL2 (like Counter Strike Source) around the same time. Its alot better for team play and less 'death-match' randomness.

Never played any of the COD games, I normally spend my gaming time playing (in this order) EVE, BF2142, Sim City 4 or Flatout UC.

EVE will still be about but come next year the other 3 will have changed for some or all of the above

FYI Fuel is supposed to come out next Month... and (mainly for Andy) its looking more & more like Codemasters have taken elements from 1nsane & used them while making this game... Some of the game modes, repair/rescue technique & open world nature mean I think i'm going to enjoy this.

It also has 76 different vehicles to chose from + upgrades, everything from Morotcross bikes, through choppers, buggies Muscle cars etc to a Hydrofoil...
