no concern there - chevies are consitantly more powerful than the fords!!

the mustang never really picked up from having the 4.6, si's 98 GT is making  about the power of a V6 4th gen of the same year, wasn't the first year of the 4.6 even lower?..

nice cars, would have been a good match for the Z28..... in 1987!

Every car had 2 runs, Martyn got 404 on his first and 409 on the 2nd.  The compiled results should have been his best result, but they got mixed up.

Roadkill

I Would guess more 325-350 Bhp out of a stock motor.

That's impressive.

Martyns figures are impressive, but usable? not really. Jamie has nice torque figures in a usable rev range.

In a head to head strip meet my money would be on jamie as he will get the power down much sooner than martyn. I think it would be close by the finish line though

My torque was HUGE.  All over by 3K though, with power levelling off at that point. Not sure how good that'd be on the strip.

I'm well up for a run at the Pod now, to see how it translates from graph to results.

Jamieg285

BTW, I'll scan in my graph for later, interesting shape and very different to most of the others I saw.

Roadkill

That'll be the tractor cam.

How often do you see Tractors doing more then 3,000 revs ?

Would be interesting on the 1/4 mile, though

Redneck county - usually got 4-6 V8s all hooked up together, trying to pull an extraordinarilly heavy trailor a very short distance, in front of a crowd of over enthusiastic rednecks.
