Yeah - point-blank refused to accept that my Camaro was capable of 125mph - even after doing it multiple times and with a data-logger.

He was a bit of a cock, really . . . .

On that test track....
1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

Big Mouse

I was told  that he was one of the main instigators of the hate mail I received when I first introduced the camaro to Mr plasma torch when it was only 4 years old - that was a fun 6 montths.

I had a few run ins with him on the old ACC forum over drag racing issues

oh there was a lot of that stuff going on back then, never a dull moment in the old days not like now

who remembers heavychevy and his monumental but always interesting posts ? i think he was superbirds nemesis if i remember right

HardRockCamaro

Indeed, met Heavychevy a couple of times at Damn Yankees but not seen him or his car since (granted I didn't go this year, but he wasn't there the year before either as far as I could see).

I think he was scrapping his red 2nd gen and putting the engine into another.
But he was there with his mates black 3rd gen usually and I didn't see that either...

Shame, he was a real friendly and helpful guy..

Ah Dr Rimmer the Dentist, his "little" ol model T garage was the stuff dreams are made of

A usable Model T is on my lottery win car list
