A few inches of snow and Bedfordshire is now shut

Outside the F Body house earlier this morning :

It even covered the gritted drive

Cars have been abandoned left everywhere :

Even Buses have been left stranded :

Forget about getting up or down any of the Luton hills :

So I arrive at the Gym and it's ruddy shut, no text message, just the gates locked shut :

Still at least the office isn't really cold yet

My word, snow!!! My mum said she has a few inches but thought she was exagerating.

Interesting pictures

I'm in Norfolk right now and its pretty much the same here
1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

We had a slight more than that here, still hilly here in Gravesend. Buses etc were still running.

I can't believe you took a pic of your watch at 'the scene of the crime' closed gym

Surely it was a nightmare riding a bike in the snow?

bunch of half arsed.............

was up at 4am on tuesday and today and driven about 450 miles in the last two days.

seen some awesome spanks - peoples inability to deal with snow just leaves me gobsmacked.

despite from not having any slidey moments, I actually arrived at work early every day this week.

did get forced off the road in the company van (blowing out a rear tyre on the dual wheel transit in the process) on Tuesday by a dustcart on my side of the road in essex!

changing a flatbed wheel in the snow is not fun!

Not all the crashes would have been caused by snow remember, some would be due to every day reasons for an accident.

Also, I was on the M4 today, and my wife pulled over as the lad was sick. It made me wonder how many people went past my truck thinking smugly,'Pah, that numpty has had too stop for a bit of ice'

Conclusions, every one can jump to them!
