| Well 2009 is almost over, sorry for the lack of updates to the News this year, time has been against us for alot of it!!
MKB have been to a few shows this year (not as many as normal!), had a real good laugh and done some crazy things...check the forum for all the info. What does next year bring . . . Who knows, hopefully more shows, more good laughs and better weather!!!! | |

| Well its now February and where has January gone??
Not much to report so far - work on updating and fixing a few of the issues on teh MKB BBQ has been going strong - a new hinge is being sorted, new coal grate made and a few other bits and pieces done to it as well. We are also in the midst of sorting out some nice new MKB flyers (as the old ones now have the wrong meet venue on!) so hopefully they will be available shortly. The Feb 09 MKB Meet was an interesting one - we had snow during the meet and it had nicely settled when we left the pub so made an interesting meet! | Well firstly - Happy new year to everyone!!
It certainly has been an interesting 2008, we have attended only a few shows last year and things overall seemed a bit quieter after the end of show season - this seems to be an overall trend - lets hope it doesn't last into 2009 So whats for this year then.....we are currently looking at updating / changing / enhancing the website & forum to offer more and also leaflets are being re-done, other than that - get to more shows, have fun and enjoy the cars (whilst we stil can lol!) Please feel free to drop by the forum and have a chat, hopefully see you at a show soon! Ian | |
| Fixing Phil's Mustang | 16/09/2008 |
| Well MKB have had a busy weekend just gone (13th & 14th) fixing Phil's mustang.
Long story short - he had a broken engine and over the course of the weekend a group of MKB'ers removed the old dead engine and then the trans, fitted all parts to a replacement engine and got it all fitted and running and driving before 6pm on the sunday!! Amazing work and it was a real hard, long weekend but it was great fun and showed what the MKB spirit is all about - helping your mates out when they need it. | Well it's been an interesting year for MKB, we have attended a good number of shows and chillout events (see the Gallery for pics) with a mixed bag of Sun, Rain, Showers and cloudy weather.
Hopefully over the winter months the MKB BBQ will get some attention and work that it really needs doing to it (Painting, Sorting Hinges etc) and we will get geared up for next year which looks to be an interesting year with various things that are going on... | |

| Well the guys are back from their tour of the USA and by all accounts, a good time was had - the car had a few issue's along the route but thats another story !!
Show season is going strong, MKB have been to the AACUK shows at Leicester and Stratford Upon Avon, a day trip was had to the AACI summer nationals at Billing, and there are more day trips & camping weekends planned before the end of this season so come along and say Hi when you see us - we don't bite........Honest!!! | |

| Winters finally over - so time for a MKB News update! Sorry for the long delay in updating the news - lots of other things have detracted me from doing this, but here we go..... AACUK Spring Nationals in May - MKB were there and it was a wondeful start to the season, brilliant sunshine all weekend and great party atmosphere. 4 of the MKB guys will be, In June, Taking part in the Hot Rod Power Tour of America - keep checking back for progress..... Can't think of much else for now but remember to check out our lively forum!! | |
