Originally it started out as a local club meet for the Rover P5 club and it's grown and grown and is now one of the largest shows on England with all proceeds going to charity.

The guy thats organised it for the last 10 years has just won the Meguiars award for 2008 Car Enthisiast of the Year.

you could alsways ask them to change it so you can go

Quoting: Their Website
Access to the common is restricted to vehicles OVER 20 YEARS OLD
Applications for tickets for more modern classics are still invited

Entries will be accepted at the discretion of the organisers

Ahem!!  Special treatment eh ...

Technically that means I can't take the IROC...

There'll be loads of nearly new posh cars, I'd have swapped all my vehicles for that orange Zonda last year

The issue is getting a ticket because it's ticket entry only ( allegedly )

Just thought if it was a charity do the more people they get to there the better.
So more money goes to the charity.
Must be me thats thick perhaps the charitys don't need as much dough as possible.
Just my observation

You're probably right mate, but it's always been on a weekday, and i wasnt having a pop at you, just a giggle, no offence meant

There's usually a show on the green at Croxley in August thats also held on a Wednesday.

Not 100% sure i can make it now. I've got 2 cars to collect from Norfolk before Friday and the guy can only do evenings.

5th year i've entered and last year was the only time i managed to actually make the show. If the weather stays good the turnout will be awsome tonight.
