The car looks very sound, have you had to do any welding

yep the rear trunk ext, and a couple of patches on the chassis rails, where its been jacked and dented no rust apart from surface stuff...

some botched repairs



no wonder they rot, sand and spoon

yep its a winner, but the roller feed dont like being upright, its a cheap as chips that bit,

Ah, also, are they proper rear quarter patch pieces or home-made jobbies ?

I ask as Chris' Duster is well rotten in those areas so see myself having to tackle those in the future.

i think they were $50 ea plus shippin etc, makin em wasnt really an option

Impressive how chris's has rusted in exactly the same places . . . albeit a little worse.

Have you "cheated" there and welded a strip to the back of the new panel to help locate it on the old ? (third from last pic).
